Should I Choose Rent to Rent HMO or Serviced Accommodation

In this video we are going to discuss the differences between HMO and Serviced Accommodation and how to choose which one will be right for you. Because the first thing that you need to know is that you will HAVE to choose between the two. I have seen people attempt to do both and it never works because they are completely different businesses. The Rent to Rent concept for both are the same, but the management on the back-end is very, very different. So running both of these is similar to having to get two businesses up and running at the same time.

That is not only hard work, but a real struggle as a start-up and you need to make starting a business as easy as possible for yourself. Just think about the conundrum talking to letting agents; what would you say? You can’t tell them that you are looking for anything. They will never be able to understand your needs and requirements and then rather decide not to help you. Therefor it’s better to pick one of these and stick with it. You can always start up the other leg of your business when you’ve got the one business properly set up and running smoothly. This is exactly what I did and in the end I actually decided that I would rather just stick to HMO’s.
