The Corona Virus is probably one of the biggest topics in the world right now. Although I try not to get too caught up in the media and the fear that it invokes, I am still well aware of the impact it has on us as Rent-to-Renters, landlords & service accommodation managers. So I am going to share some helpful advice on how to manage your Rent to Rent & property business during this time as well as during the economic down-turn this will inevitably bring. The experts have been telling us that we are on the verge of a recession for quite a long time and Corona Virus will most definitely be pushing us over that edge.

The first thing we need to do is manage our mind-set. The moment your mind goes into complete panic mode, it shuts down on any/all available opportunities. In this mind-set the decisions you make are also generally not the best ones. Your fear will also withhold you from having an active approach to anything within your business. This inactivity will serve as a self-fulfilling prophecy since this will have a detrimental effect on your business and your fear that Corona will kill your business will “prove” to be true. So the first thing you need to do is start managing your thoughts. Calm and resourceful thoughts will actually help you keep on growing your business – even in this time of crisis.
