What is the possibility of doing Rent to Rent on a property that is already an HMO? A lot of people struggle with this concept because why would a property owner give you his property when he is already running it as an HMO? One of the biggest marketing tips I share with people is to get a list of licensed HMO’s from the council and to send them letters.This usually leads to the next big question; then how am I going to make profit?

When I got started all my Rent to Rent properties were already HMO’s. So how does this work? The first thing you need to keep in mind is that most landlords are not professional landlords; they are not trying to make a living from the property industry. Some of them even end up having an HMO completely by accident due to a specific situation. We are the ones who take the time to study the property business and market and know what it looks like when you’re putting out a quality product.
