How to Build Your Rent to Rent Portfolio Quickly

Today people look at me and say “this comes so easy to you”, but I can assure you that when I started this business five years ago I was in tears nearly every day. But you learn and you grow and today I have the privilege of helping others do the same. Recently I did an interview with one of my students and it is absolutely amazing what he has accomplished in a very short amount of time whilst still having a 9-to-5 fulltime job.

One of the key tips he had was not to look for perfection. You don’t need to look for the best deal that will win you the investor of the year award; just find one that works for you. Not every deal will make you 2000 pounds profit every month, but every deal will help you build your portfolio and help you on your journey to financial freedom. If you hold out and wait for that perfect deal that comes along only once in a while it will take you forever to build your Rent to Rent business.

And it goes without saying that you also don’t have to wait ‘till you are perfect, know absolutely everything there is to know about Rent to Rent etc. before you get out there and do those viewings. The important thing is that you get started because that’s how you learn the most. You’ll come to understand how to interact with agents, how to interact with landlords, how to negotiate, what the biggest needs and problems are and how to solve them. Theoretical knowledge can only take you so far. The real magic happens through implementation.
