Assessing Floor Plans to Get the Most Income from your HMOs

Hello and happy new year!  I've been busy trying to catch up after a month away in the US on holiday - so appologies for the long delay since the last blog!  I forgot how much needs to be done when you've been away for a while and I made the mistake of jamming my diary full of visits to reconnect with people before I recovered from my jet-lag.  Oops!  Lesson learned!  I've recovered and have already planned a few days extra downtime after my holiday in the Caribbean next month!

In this blog I wanted to walk through some floor plan assessments.  I have a lot of people approach me saying they can't find any larger properties that would make good HMOs.  It can be hard to find 4 or 5 bedroom properties - especially reasonably priced ones.  It can be a lot more beneficial to find properties that are advertised as 3 bedrooms that have potential to turn reception rooms or living rooms into additional bedrooms.

I've also got a FREEBIE that you can download with the Top 4 Things to Look for when Assessing Floor Plans for an HMO.

In the following video I'll walk through a couple of floor plans and discuss the pros and cons and how you could easily convert them to add rental income as an HMO.

Thank you for joining and watching the video and don't forget to download your extra FREEBIE worksheet on the Top 4 Thing to Look for when Assessing Floor Plans for HMOs.
